Green Broadbill

Chunky, short tailed bird, male bird green with black earpatch and black bars on wing-coverts. Female bird duller wothj no black markings.

Himalayan Griffon

Huge and bulky with thick pale bill, pale bare head, thickish neck and mostly sandy-buffy body and wing converts.

Great Cormorant

Much bigger and larger billed than other Cormorant. Prominant defined white area from head-side to upper throat, prominant yellow facial and gular skin, strong brown cast to upperparts.

Black-headed Gull

A small, tern like gull with black-tipped red bill. Wings and mantle pale grey, legs and feet dark red. Head is white with dark ear spot, with grey smudging on crown. Fist-winter bird has paler bill, duller legs and a broad greyish brown band across upperwing coverts.
