Dark-sided Flycatcher
A dark, boldly streaked flycatcher. Upperparts sooty grey, much darker than Asian Brown Flycatcher. Underparts dirty white with bold diffused dark streaking, especially on breast and flanks. White malars and half-collar bolder and more prominent than Asian Brown Flycatcher.

Green-backed Flycatcher
A yellowish flycatcher with diagnostic olive-green back. Male yellow-browed, largely olive-greenish on the upperparts, with a white wing patch. Underparts and rump rich yellow. Female similar to yellow-rumped Flycatcher, but yellower on underparts, usually showing two thin pale wing bars, also lacks yellow rump and has a more prominant eye-ring.

Brown-chested Jungle-Flycatcher
Rather long bill with pale yellow lower mandible, faint dark mottling on throat. Orange legs.

Asian Brown Flycatcher
A nondescript brown flycatcher. Plumage mostly greyish brown on the upperparts and dirty white on the underparts, with a variable wash of grey-brown on the breast and flanks. Also pale lore patch and white eye-ring.

Brown-streaked Flycatcher
Similar to Asian Brown Flycatcher. Upperparts and wings brown, but more richly coloured, although this can be difficult to see well. Lower mandible pale yellow. Diffused brown streaks from upper breast run down to flanks. Belly dirty white.

Ferruginous Flycatcher
A rich orange-brown flycatcher. Adult bluish-grey on head. Mantle, back and wings rich chestnut. Underparts orangey brown, graduating to white on the belly. White eye-ring, lores, malars and throat. Young birds are boldly streaked chestnut brown on the upper underparts.

Spotted Flycatcher
A first time seen lost migrant spotted in Singapore Kent Ridge Park. It was here likely due to 'navigation error'. Native to Palearctic region from Western Europe to North Mongolia. The birds breed in the swampy coniferous forest of Russia and Mongolia, west to Europe, south to mountains of Central Asia. The birds typically migrate from northern Asia to Africa via Middle East and Western India. The bird is very similar to Asian Brown Flycatcher, except it has additional streaks on its crown and chest, and a lower beak with more black than orange.

Greater Green Leafbird
The largest leafbird. Male entirely green with black face and bib, and a bluish malar band only visible in good light. Separated from similar Lesser Green Leafbird by larger size, stouter bill and absence of yellow rimto bib. Female is mostly green, but shows diagnostic yellow eye-ring, yellow chin and throat.

Black Paradise Flycatcher
This species* occurs primarily as a passage migrant during the northern winter. In non-breeding plumage, both sexes have a glossy black head with chestnut-brown wings and back. Underparts are usually greyish on the upper breast with a whitish belly. A rare white morph also occurs with a glossy black head and uniformly white plumage. In breeding plumage, males have very long tail streamers.
* Recent geneitc studies have resulted in splitting this species into three: Amur Paradise Flycatcher, Blyth's Paradise Flycatcher, and Indian Paradise Flycatcher.
