Pacific Swallow
The only resident swallow. Upperparys glossy blue.Underparts buff-grey. Forehead and throat brick-red. Superficially similar to Barn Swallow, but lacks blue-black breast band, hasw darker underparts and lacks the tail streamers.

Barn Swallow
A familiar swallow, the only one with largely white underparts. Upperparts glossy blue with brick-red forehead and throat patch, separat3d from white breast and belly by blue-black breast band. Adults have tail streamers, longer in males.
