A large swift-like bird of secondary Woodland. Plumage mostly pale grey, with greenish gloss oncorwn, mantle and shoulders. Has a frontal crest, red ear patch and pale tertials, visible only when perched. In flight, appears like a large slender swift with pale rump and a thin tapered tail.
