Music and Mood
Life is full of ups and downs, and more often than not more downs than ups. Sometime life just sucks and things just not going on well. Even someone that has seen enough of life still may not be easy to get out of the situation. Family and friends’ support can be important, but finally it is always yourself that have to bring yourself out of the bad situation and move on.
For me sometime when I am in really bad mood I use music to relief some of my pressure. Go for a jog is another way. Recently took out a ‘Yellow River Concerto’ CD recording to relief my bad mood. It is a fairly old recording by Philips under the ‘Digital Series’ . The concerto was performed by Central Philharmonic Orchestra, the famous China pianist Shi Shucheng being the soloist and conductor. Old recordings may not have very good recording effects, but the heart warming performance could be really touching. It is kind of refreshing and relief after bombarded by the forceful music for 20 over minutes. Another recording ‘Stimela’ performed by Hugh Masekela has the same effect to me : ).
Look forward to the rainbow after the thunderstorm. However, although rainbow is beautiful, sometimes insipid is blessing.
